Death In A Pillowcase

 she would do anything to keep him alive/like turning yourself into something that can no longer feel/a crimson red stain permanently on your pillowcase every night/because you have a habit of holding it when the nightmares come back/you were told as a child the ones you get are special/night terrors/a small definition for something that causes you to get no rest/even while dead asleep/she would do anything to keep him alive/anything but talk/about why he’s now emancipated in her head/ she would do anything to make him happy again/lying to herself because even in a weeks time/she’ll keep filling herself with poison/for small sparks of happiness she can try to glorify/glorify next to a picture of the person she imagined him to be/she’s not convinced she is living/next to this dead corpse she gave a name.
