National Poetry Month day 24

 “the sunset is beautiful isn’t it”

a sunset means

that the day has ended

but the memories still remain

from the day we had

“the sunset is beautiful isn’t it”

if i were to write a book about two lovers

that is how it would end

because sometimes the most realistic story

is the one where the two people

who compliment each other the best

always choose someone else

and just like the way i feel toward you

eventually 

it has to end

and the sunset is beautiful 

isn’t it?

that is how

i will let you go.
