Birds & The Rain

Do birds dislike the rain?

Does it cause them just as much pain,

as it does me when I start feeling low.

I love the rain when I'm falling asleep,

but during the day it's not something I want to keep.

Can the birds fly when it's pouring down water?

Do they have trouble getting worms to their sons and daughters?

When it rains for days do the birds forget,

their song.

Does the pain stop, or like my own,

it goes on and on.
